Your account is your business. Losing access to it, or having your real name or content spread without your consent, can cost far more than any month of earnings.
None of the steps below are complicated, and most take minutes. Do them once, check them every few months, and you remove the most common ways creators get hurt.
Key takeaways
- Use an email and phone number that only you control, and turn on two-factor authentication.
- Never share a password or login code over chat.
- Keep your real identity out of your content and its file data.
- Any shared access should be limited, written down and removable.
01
Lock down your login
- A dedicated email address used only for your page, protected with its own strong password and two-factor authentication.
- A long, unique password, stored in a password manager, not reused anywhere else.
- Two-factor authentication switched on in your OnlyFans settings.
- Check where you are signed in from time to time, and sign out of devices you do not recognise.
- Never send a login code to anyone. Nobody legitimate needs it.
02
Keep your real identity private
- Use a stage name everywhere you promote, and keep it separate from your personal accounts.
- Remove location data from photos. Many phones save it in the file. Turn it off in your camera settings or strip it before uploading.
- Check backgrounds for letters, windows, reflections and anything that shows where you live.
- Block regions you want to avoid. OnlyFans has a setting to block access from chosen countries or regions, for example where you live.
03
Reduce leaks, and act fast when they happen
No setting makes leaks impossible, but you can make your content less attractive to share and quicker to remove.
- WatermarkPut your page name on your content so it always points back to you.
